Frequently asked questions.

What are your rates?

Starting photo and video packages at $300. My services cater to fashion, branding, and portrait shoots, with each project uniquely tailored to your specific needs and vision. After a detailed consultation, I'll provide a custom quote to ensure the deliverables align perfectly with your goals and expectations.

What type of photography/video do you do?

I specialize in fashion, beauty, and branding photography. This encompasses a wide range of styles that I can tailor to your or your business needs. If you have a special request or want to discuss a unique concept shoot me an email, I am happy to help!

Why should I hire a professional photographer?

Hiring a professional photographer ensures high-quality images, expertise in composition and lighting, and a keen eye for detail. I will bring my technical skills and creativity, all you have to do is bring me your ideas! I have over seven years of real-world experience in the photography industry and I’m ready to partner with you to enhance your personal or business imagery.

What is the turnaround time for my images?

I give my clients an estimate of three weeks minimum to receive your images back. If I need more time I always reach out and communicate with my clients, especially during busy seasons. If you need your images in a specific time frame please let me know before your shoot so I can make arrangements, otherwise, I will charge an expedited turn-around fee determined at the time of the request.

This period allows for thorough culling of the images, high-quality retouching, and makes sure that every detail of your images is polished to perfection. Your final photos will reflect the highest standards of craftsmanship and professionalism.

Do I get the copyright/ownership of my photos?

Copyright exists the moment a photograph is taken. In most situations, whoever took the picture owns the rights to that image. Copyright means that the owner (Photographer) has the exclusive right to reproduce and display the photograph. As the holder of a copyright, a photographer may license the use of his or her photograph to someone with or without receiving compensation. The exact terms of the license are outlined in my contracts where I may grant limited or unlimited use of the image and set payment arrangements. If the license holder violates the agreement by using the images in ways that exceed the scope of the contract, a copyright violation or breach of contract will occur.

In any circumstances where I have signed an employee or work-for-hire contract - these terms are subject to the contract agreement.

Do I backup or otherwise secure images for protection?

In my specific workflow, I have multiple forms of backups. I upload my photos immediately on two external hard drives on my computer and store your edits (not raws) in my Dropbox for up to two years after our shoot. For any reason, there could be a malfunction on my card or computer during the upload process. My policy in these cases is to offer a full refund with or without a re-shoot opportunity. If you decide to re-shoot I will offer a partial refund of up to 50% to cover the cost of studio time re-booking; if you decide to forego a reshoot I offer a full refund for your booking.

Rescheduling, Cancellation, and no-show policy?

I take a 25% non-refundable retainer on all shoots and appointments. This amount will go towards your studio booking and lock in your appointment date and time. I am flexible on rescheduling shoots given a minimum of 24-48 hour notice, most studios can give studio credit or they can cancel or reschedule bookings given appropriate notice - although this is subjective to different studios’ policies! Please be respectful of my time as I will always try and accommodate clients emergencies and scheduling conflicts.
